A celebrated fusion of flavour and nutrition, our Egusi with Vegetable Soup is built upon ground melon seeds and vibrant, fresh greens. This serving contains 3 Litres of this delicious soup.

This soup is exceptionally nourishing, thanks to the Egusi (melon seeds), a good source of plant-based protein and healthy unsaturated fats. Ugwu leaves (pumpkin leaves) supplies the body with crucial fibre, Iron, and Vitamin A, supporting both digestive health and overall strength.

The soup is prepared by caking the ground melon seeds in the broth or by frying them, creating a thick, chunky texture where the Egusi binds perfectly with the protein. Tender assorted meats and smoked fish are generously included, and the shredded pumpkin leaves are folded in last to maintain their vibrant colour and nutritional integrity. It is nutty, earthy, and richly flavourful, beautifully balanced by the slight freshness of the greens.

This delicious soup is perfect with Eba, Pounded Yam, Amala, or simply a side of Steamed Rice.
