The Eba is prepared by stirring and kneading garri in boiling water until it forms a soft, and firm dough, providing the essential starch base for this dish. The soup itself is prepared by frying ground melon seeds directly in palm oil and simmering with tender assorted meats and smoked fish, resulting in a rich, nutty texture without any added vegetables.
