Ofada Rice with Fried Plantain

Ofada rice with smoky pepper sauce made with bell pepper, chilli pepper, enjoyed with fried plantain.

Ingredients:

  • Ofada rice
  • Plantain
  • 10-15 green bell peppers (tatashe)
  • 5-8 scotch bonnet peppers (ata rodo)
  • 1 large onion
  • 6-8 pieces of locust beans (iru)
  • 1/2 cup palm oil
  • 500g assorted meat (beef, goat meat, or chicken)
  • 200g smoked fish or dried fish
  • 200g ponmo (cow skin), optional
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 stock cubes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground crayfish
