Air Fryer Catfish Steak

Crispy, flaky air-fried catfish without the heavy oils. A healthier way to enjoy the hearty and savory flavor of catfish without compromising on taste.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb catfish large
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 to ½ teaspoon red chili flakes or cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil

Equipments:

  • Air fryer
  • Cooking utensils
  • Pot

Cooking Instructions:

STEP 1: Clean the fresh fish thoroughly to remove the slime on the skin.
STEP 2: Cut the fish into about 1-1/2 to 2 inch thickness.
STEP 3: Rinse the fish again and pat dry with a paper towel.
STEP 4: Mix the oil and spices in a small bowl.
STEP 5: Drizzle the marinade on the fish and rub it in.
STEP 6: Place the fish in the air fryer in a single layer.
STEP 7: Air fry for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
